Composite bonding
Composite bonding (also known as tooth bonding or dental bonding) offers a solution for gaps in between teeth, improving the shape of teeth or fixing minor damage such as chips or fractures.
A composite resin (white filling material) is bonded to a tooth and shaped to restore its appearance. The colour of the resin is matched to your teeth, so it will appear as though it is a natural part of the tooth.
The benefits of composite bonding are that it can usually be carried out in one visit, is cheaper than crown or veneer treatments, usually requires no local anaesthetic and is more conservative than other treatment because it does not required removal of any tooth structure. Provided regular brushing and good oral hygiene is maintained your composite bonding should last for many years.
